All told, Ontario's system operator, IESO, awarded contracts to 16 onshore wind, solar and hydro projects, totaling 455MW of capacity, as part of the Canadian province’s first Large Renewables Procurement round, known as the LRP1.
As expected, Ontario awarded 300MW of wind contracts and 140MW of utility-scale PV, as well as 15.5MW
