The JV – called Eolfi Offshore France and controlled by CGN – is vying to build at least two projects in the Mediterranean and one in the Atlantic off Brittany, Eolfi CEO Alain Delsupexhe told Recharge.

If successful, the Mediterranean bids would see the deployment of two platforms – one a tension-leg platform (TLP) developed by the French state-backed research body IFPEN, the second a semisubmersible from Sofresid Engineering, a France-based oil & gas engineering specialist.
