Production from the fleet of Siemens 3.6MW machines will course via individual interarray alternating current (AC) cables to the wind farm's offshore substation at 33kV, and then on at 155kV to transmission system operator TenneT's Sylwind alpha converter platform for onward transport as low-loss direct current (DC) to an onshore grid-connection 200km away at Büttel.
