Cheshire told UK newspaper The Guardian that recent government announcements have reassured the Danish energy group, the leading backer of Britain’s world-leading offshore wind ambitions.
UK energy secretary Amber Rudd said late last year that the offshore sector could be given the chance to compete in three more auctions for renewables support by 2020, if it could demonstrate sufficient progress on cost reduction.
