Thepart-scale, 1MW prototype of the turbine – a two-bladed turbine set atop asemi-submersible platform fixed to the seabed using catenary cables – is to bemoored in some 35-metres of water at the grid-connected SEM-REV wave and windenergy testing facility, off Le Croisic on the Brittany peninsula.
