The milestone comes two years after construction began at the project, which will see a total of 88 3.6MW Siemens turbines installed off north Norfolk on England’s east coast.

The project, owned by Scira Offshore Energy – a joint venture of Norwegian firms Statoil and Statkraft – remains on track for completion next summer, though the workload will be heavy.

In addition to the remaining turbines, there are still 16 monopile foundations and several kilometres of infield cables to be installed.
