Orsted will locate Maryland’s first offshore wind energy staging area at a port facility near Baltimore, part of a $200m investment in the state to support development of its 120MW Skipjack project.
Orsted is partnering with Tradepoint Atlantic, which operates a multimodal logistics center on the site of a former shipbuilding facility and steel mill at Sparrows Point.
