A redesigned and more efficient regulatory framework with a diminished possibility for lengthy legal procedures as well as earlier consultations with local stakeholders will speed up the development of offshore wind in France, Pauline Le Bertre, chief executive at wind power federation FEE said.

“The regulatory framework was inappropriate, but it has been redesigned. Dunkirk is already an improvement. The next tender will be made under a more efficient framework,” Le Bertre told Recharge.
