Brazilian wind developer Energimp is waiting for a new controlling shareholder to help it complete a market comeback after refurbishing most of its projects and restructuring a R$1.5bn ($380m) debt.

The entry of the new shareholder should happen in the coming months, after a local bankruptcy court ordered Wind Power Energy (WPE) – the Brazilian unit of Argentine OEM Impsa – to auction off its 55% stake in Energimp, the developer's CEO Márcio Almeida tells Recharge.
