The UK Crown Estate has pushed back the launch of its new Round 4 offshore wind leasing process to allow time for modifications arising from industry consultation, the seabed landlord said.
Round 4 – which is expected to offer about 7GW of development acreage – will “not take place until after summer 2019”, said the body, which manages leasing off England, Wales and Northern Ireland.
