General Mills and EY enable three Texas wind farms with VPPAs

General Mills and professional services giant Ernst & Young (EY) have signed virtual power purchase agreements that will enable construction of three wind farms in Texas, extending the state’s lead as the top US location for C&I transactions.

General Mills’ 15-year VPPA is for 200MW of capacity from the future Maverick Creek wind project in central Texas being developed by a joint venture partnership of RES Americas and Steelhead Americas.
