Denmark’s next – and largest – offshore wind farm will be at least 800MW, sited in the North Sea and called Thor, said the country’s government.
The Danish Energy Agency (DEA) announced plans to open a tender for Thor this year, saying the site for the project – at least 20km out into the North Sea off Nissum Fjord – was picked as it offers “the most green energy for the money”.
