A lack of sufficient future offshore wind orders has pushed Cuxhaven-based wind tower producer Ambau into insolvency, Recharge learned from the law firm handling the process, as an industry body warned more could follow amid a market “collapse”.
Ambau last week has filed for insolvency with a regional court in Cuxhaven, threatening the jobs of 350 employees at its Cuxhaven and Gräfenhainichen facilities.
