German turbine maker Enercon has landed its biggest order yet for its EP3 platform, with a 345MW order for turbines from its E-138 EP3 E1 model for two Canadian wind projects, which is also the OEM’s first major contract for the platform in North America.
“Over the past few months we have seen a lot of momentum for the new EP3 platform in different international markets,” Enercon managing director Hans-Dieter Kettwig said.
