Enel through its Brazilian renewable subsidiary has signed agreements with Chinese company CGN Energy International for sale of 100% ownership in a 90MW wind farm and two solar facilities totaling 450MW nameplate capacity in the country’s northeast.

Enel values the deal, to be paid at expected closing later this quarter, equal to the assets’ enterprise value, or 2.9bn Brazilian reais (€700m).
