The intake of firm orders at Nordex Group soared last year as the German wind OEM was successful in winning customers for recently-launched turbines from both its Nordex and Acciona Windpower brands.
New orders surged by 73% to 4.75GW in 2018, with the US, Brazil and Sweden as the strongest individual markets for the group.
Order growth slowed somewhat in the fourth quarter, to 1.68GW,
