Danish wind OEM Vestas has won a 101MW order for 46 of its V120-2.2MW turbines from an unnamed developer in China.
All of the machines will have hub heights of 152 metres, which Vestas says are the Asian giant’s tallest towers.
“Together with the proven 2MW platform, Vestas’ high tower solution remains one of our core competitive offerings for China’s low wind market,” said Vestas China chief financial officer Thomas Keller.
