Former Danish Prime Minister Helle Thorning-Schmidt has been nominated for the board of directors at wind turbine manufacturer Vestas for election at an upcoming general meeting on April 3, 2019.
Thorning-Schmidt has the core competencies for the work of the board and will provide extensive insights into the political conditions around government-regulated industries such as the energy industry, as well as a global network and experience from managing complex organisations, Vestas said.
