Two next-generation ‘Mono Bucket’ foundations are scheduled for deployment in the second quarter of this year at the 269MW Deutsche Bucht wind farm, said developer Northland Power as it announced installation of the project's 31 monopiles.
The installation of the Mono Buckets at the German North Sea project will be the first time the innovative foundation will be tested under commercial operating conditions.
