Oman’s first large-scale renewables project is underway with the installation of the first GE turbine at the 50MW Dhofar Wind Farm.
The project is being developed by a consortium led by Abu Dhabi clean energy group Masdar, and also including GE and Spanish EPC specialist TSK.
The wind farm, due online in the third quarter of next year, uses 3.8MW
