Vestas signed a firm order for 151MW for its V150-4.2MW platform in Brazil, as the shift towards deployment of more powerful turbines continues in South America’s largest wind market.
The buyer is Casa dos Ventos, one of the biggest renewable energy developers in Brazil.
Vestas says it has sold a total of 252MW of the V150-4.2MW machines so far in the country.
