Prices at Greece’s second onshore wind auction for 160MW declined to a range of €55-65 ($62-74) per megawatt hour, down from €68-72/MWh at a first 171MW auction in July.
“These are impressive results. The average price level is even lower than in the last French and German onshore auctions,” said Joël Meggelaars, head of advocacy and messaging at industry body WindEurope.
