Senvion’s new chief executive Yves Rannou will take office on 1 January 2019, replacing acting CEO and chief financial officer Manav Sharma.

The Germany-based wind turbine manufacturer in September announced former GE Renewable Energy and Alstom veteran as its new CEO, saying he would start in his new position by March 2019 at the latest.

“We are delighted that Yves is able to join us in January, will finalise the overall strategic approach and will be leading the implementation of all operational decisions right from the beginning of the new year,” Senvion chairman Steven Holliday said.
