Crown Estate Scotland has outlined the next steps in its proposals for new offshore wind leasing off the country – with next April set as the earliest possible launch date – paving the way for projects to be built in the late 2020s.
Scotland’s seabed manager set out its approach to future leasing design after talks with developers and other stakeholders, in a process that runs separately from The Crown Estate’s planning for the rest of the UK’s waters.
