E.ON completes commissioning of UK's 400MW Rampion

E.ON officially opened the 400MW Rampion wind farm off the coast of Sussex, southern England, after fully commissioning the project's substations.

"We continue to see the UK as an attractive market for the expansion of offshore wind. The government's support for this technology and an intelligent funding system are also exemplary for other countries in Europe," Sven Utermöhlen, chief operating officer of E.ON
