Norway’s Equinor has confirmed its intention to bid capacity into New Jersey’s first offshore wind solicitation next month from its development zone south of New York, while naming the New Jersey portion of the project Boardwalk Wind.
“We’re submitting a bid in four weeks in New Jersey,” Julie Bovey, director of external affairs for Equinor’s US offshore wind projects, said Thursday at a conference organised by the Business Network for Offshore Wind.
