Turbine maker Vestas has landed a turnkey deal for the 52MW Tafila wind farm in Jordan from Daehan Wind Power (DWP), a special-purpose company set up by South Korean utility Korean Southern Power (KOSPO) and Daelim Energy.

Encompassing supply, transport, installation and commissioning of 15 V136-3.45MW turbines, the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contract is the Danish OEM’s fourth EPC contract for utility-scale wind power project in the Middle East country.
