New York’s Public Service Commission has approved Innogy’s 126MW Cassadaga wind project in the state’s western region, leaving it on track for completion in 2020, a company spokesperson tells Recharge.

The Cassadaga project was part of the 2GW portfolio of US wind developments Germany’s Innogy bought from EverPower earlier this year – and one of just three projects within the portfolio that are expected to reach completion by the end of 2020, in time to qualify for the full production tax credit.
