German utility Innogy is offering a reward of up to €80,000 for information that helps solve the case of the acid attack on CFO Bernhard Günther and lead to the arrest of the as yet unidentified perpetrators.

Innogy took the step after public prosecutors in Wuppertal said on 28 September that the investigation into the acid attack on Günther earlier this year will be discontinued after the perpetrators could not be identified.
