Orsted subsidiary Lincoln Clean Energy has signed a 12-year virtual power purchase agreement with Vail Resorts in the US that will help enable full development of the 230MW Plum Creek wind project in Nebraska.
Financial terms were not made public. Vail will purchase 310,000MWh annually of energy, enough to achieve a 100% reduction associated with the company’s mountain resort operations in North America.
