Two of the world’s leading wind energy research institutions – Germany’s Fraunhofer Institute for Wind Energy Systems (IWES) and Denmark’s DTU Wind Energy – are leading major industry players in a research project that aims to boost rotor blade reliability using a novel ‘digital twin’ solution.
The RELIABLADE project will run through until October 2022, with activities split between Germany and Denmark.
