Germany-based Deutsche Windtechnik is setting up a new business unit in Taiwan after winning an O&M deal for Wpd’s Yunlin offshore wind project.
Deutsche Windtechnik – which has worked with the German developer in their home offshore wind market – will be responsible for operations management, logistics and foundation maintenance, among other duties at the 650-700MW project, which is set to use Siemens Gamesa turbines.
