Vestas added another deal to its growing tally in South Africa with an order from Enel to equip its 148MW Oyster Bay wind farm.
Oyster Bay – located in Eastern Cape – will use 41 V117-3.45 MW turbines delivered in 3.6 MW power optimised mode.
The Oyster Bay order adds to 294MW Vestas picked up from Enel Green Power in October to equip the Italian group’s Karusa and Soetwater projects in the Western Cape.
