Vestas has started a blade export programme from its Brazilian operation that has kept its local supplier busy over the past few months – and could open the way for the country’s inclusion in the Danish turbine OEM’s global supply chain.
“The [power sector] model is changing and we have to evolve together,” Rogério Zampronha, Vestas Brazil and Southern Cone manager told Recharge.
