Developer OX2 said it will build the “largest subsidy-free wind construction” in the Nordic region using turbines supplied by Germany’s Nordex.
The 107.4MW spread over four wind farms will be financed by IKEA Retail Finland, part of the Ingka Group, which OX2 said has agreed to buy the projects when they enter service in 2020.
The projects in southwest Finland will use Nordex’s new N149/4.0-4.5
