Global technology group DNV GL and Chinese wind OEM Goldwind will co-operate over digitialisation of wind turbine certification.
The two partners will develop common tools to exchange data and documentation, and research the potential for automating common certification tasks, as part of joint activity under a memorandum of understanding signed at the China Wind Power industry event.
“As the wind sector matures and many governments look to reduce or eliminate subsidies, the wind turbine market is increasingly competitive,” said a statement announcing the MoU.
