The UK offshore wind sector confirmed its appetite for at least 6GW of new leasing rights, said the country’s seabed landlord as it advanced preparations for a potential Round 4 process as soon as early 2019.

Industry representatives also supported plans for detailed seabed data-sharing on potential sites to reduce risks during the process.
