The US offshore wind market is in a position to attract low-cost capital from institutional investors early in its development, a big advantage compared to how other markets evolved, says Ethan Zindler, head of the Americas at Bloomberg New Energy Finance.
With major deals and policy announcements now coming swiftly and energetically in the US offshore market, it’s important to remember that the industry still faces serious challenges here, said Zindler, speaking this week at an American Wind Energy Association conference in Washington DC.
