Argentine power company YPF Luz inaugurated the initial 50MW stage of its 100MW Manantiales Behr wind farm in the southern province of Chubut that will supply power to industries through private off-take arrangements.
The project was inaugurated by President Maurício Macri who said that wind power, together with the Vaca Muerta shale gas fields also located in southern Argentina, would “turn the country into a great global energy power.”
