Turbine manufacturer MHI Vestas is to hire “hundreds” of additional workers in a new expansion planned for its blade production facility on the Isle of Wight off southern England.
The turbine OEM said that its Isle of Wight facility already employs 300 people, but it needs to recruit more in order to meet the growing demand for its V164 wind turbine.
