Siemens Gamesa confirms first Russian wind deal with Enel

Siemens Gamesa has confirmed its first order in Russia with a 90MW supply deal for Enel’s Azovskaya wind farm.

The turbine OEM will deliver 26 of its SG 3.4-132 machines to the project in southern Russia, which is due for commissioning in 2020.

It is the first firm deal under a 291MW framework agreement with the Italian energy group relating to two wind projects that won in Russia’s first batch of tenders, held in mid-2017.
