American Wind Energy Association chief executive Tom Kiernan sees hope for a national infrastructure bill if the Democrats retake control of the House of Representatives next month, with potential benefits for what has become the industry’s top concern: transmission.

While a Democrat-led House would no doubt “further exacerbate the partisan nature” of lawmaking in Washington DC, “Democratic leaders, Republican leaders and the president have all said they do want to work on infrastructure in a bipartisan way”, Kiernan said Monday at AWEA’s Finance East conference in New York.
