Offshore access technology designer Ampelmann has landed five orders on North Sea wind farms for its innovative heave-compensated gangway systems.
The deals, for two of its A-type and three E-type “walk to work” personnel transfer bridges, include a unit to be installed on vessel owner Eidesvik’s Viking Neptune, which will be working on a five-month commissioning campaign on the Merkur wind farm of Germany.
