Spain’s Acciona has signed an agreement with EnerAB – a joint venture between US utility AES Corporation and Mexican conglomerate Grupo BAL – to build the 306MW Mesa la Paz wind farm in Mexico’s Tamaulipas state.
Under the deal, with an undisclosed value, Acciona will handle the balance of plant work, including the auxiliary systems required for the operations of the project, primary civil engineering, medium-voltage grid installation and electrical wiring.
