The latest onshore wind tender in France failed to attract bidders for the full 500MW-worth of capacity that was up for grabs, with five projects totalling 118MW successful.
“There was a lack of projects submitted in this tender,” a spokesman for the French Wind Energy Association (FEE) told Recharge. “A lot of onshore projects had their authorisation cancelled earlier this year due to changes in regulations.
