The much-delayed line that will transport power from the 310MW Lake Turkana wind farm in Kenya to the grid is nearing completion, with connection expected within weeks, the project's developer told Recharge.
Lake Turkana – Africa’s largest renewable energy project to date– has been on hold for more than a year since lead contractor Vestas finished the wind farm ahead of schedule in March 2017.
