A Wyoming government-led economic diversification initiative has recommended the US western state “aspire” to increase wind energy generation capacity 10-fold to 15GW over the next two decades.

Presently, only Texas surpasses that level of wind installations with 23.2GW with number two state Oklahoma at 7.49GW.

In a final 153-page report, Transforming Wyoming, the 24-member executive council of ENDOW ( Economically Needed Diversity Options for Wyoming) notes that the state boasts wind resources that are of the highest quality and abundance in the nation.
