Argentina is set to reach almost 500MW of installed wind capacity as the 99MW La Castellana wind farm is expected to start operations by the end of August.
The project will be the second wind farm to come on line of the country’s two-year renewable energy programme RenovAr, which contracted a total 2.5GW of wind in tenders to be built in the next two to three years.
