The average price for winning bids at Germany’s 670MW third onshore wind tendering round this year rose to €61.60 ($70.17) per megawatt hour of electricity produced, up from €57.30/MWh at an auction in May and €47.30/MWh in February.

“The round was slightly oversubscribed, nevertheless every admitted bid also was successful,” said Jochen Homann, president of Germany’s federal network agency BNetzA.
