Germany-based wind OEM Senvion has signed an agreement with Saudi Arabian energy company Alfanar over the delivery of turbines to projects in Spain with a combined capacity of up to 300MW.
Installation and commissioning of the projects are planned for 2019, but a Senvion press spokeswoman told Recharge the orders are not firm yet. Out of the total, 245MW is already part of Senvion’s conditional order book, the company added.
